Bratislava, May 17 (TASR) - Slovaks residing or temporarily living abroad are twice as interested in casting their votes in the general election via post than they were for the 2006 vote, TASR learnt from Slovak Post PR manager Juraj Danielis on Monday.
According to the figures released by Slovak Post, around 6,900 Slovaks have claimed their right to vote via post before the 2010 election, which will take place on June 12.
Danielis said that the Slovak Post has to date handled as many as 184 recommended deliveries, plus 356 regular deliveries containing ballots coming from abroad, as provided for under the Compatriots Act.
