Bratislava, May 16 (TASR) - More than half of the companies in Slovakia expect market conditions to improve this year, says the April's 'Companies' Perspective on the Market' survey carried out by GfK Slovakia.
Even though the global crisis has significantly affected about two-fifths of the business sector, 66 percent of companies included in the survey expect their turnover to go up in 2010 year-on-year.
Approximately 42 percent of companies concurred that the market share will be subject to change, especially in the field of services and commerce. "It's evident, proven and widely expected that the crisis will cause wide horizontal changes in certain sectors," said Martin Mravec from GfK Slovakia.
