UPSVaR: 1,078 People Found Jobs at JobExpo Last Week

Bratislava, May 3 (TASR) - The JobExpo jobs fair that took place in Nitra on April 29-30 has helped to find jobs for 1,078 people who signed preliminary contracts at the fair, Labour, Social Affairs and the Family Centre (UPSVaR) Danica Lehotska told TASR on Monday.
A total of 53,200 informative interviews were carried out at the jobs fair, which was visited by 20,600 people. A total of 7,800 job vacancies were on offer, of which 1,400 jobs were provided by 149 companies from Slovakia, and around 6,000 by UPSVaR. Another 400 vacancies were for jobs abroad.
