Slovakia and Serbia Seal Agreement on Cooperation in Energy & Mining

Bratislava, December 3 (TASR) - Slovak Economy Minister Lubomir Jahnatek and Serbian Mining and Energy Minister Petar Skundric signed a protocol on enhancing economic co-operation in the spheres of energy and mining in Belgrade on Thursday, Martin Sikulaj and Darius Bosjak from the Slovak ministry told TASR later in the day.
In the protocol, both sides committed themselves to focusing on specific projects, primarily the construction of underground reservoirs of natural gas in Serbia as well as other projects mainly in the area of gas extraction.
Enhanced co-operation will also concern the construction of wind power turbines, heat supplies as well as the application of sophisticated software solutions designed for systems management in the energy, gas and oil industries sphere in Serbia.
