Bratislava, April 27 (TASR) – Associations of employers in Slovakia are criticising the Strategy for the Development of the Slovak Nation to 2030 recently presented by the science and research group from SAV (Slovak Academy of Sciences), indicating that the document fails to interlink theory and practice.
"The content of the document (which took four years to prepare) is far from a reflection of realities and needs of the business environment in Slovakia. It was drawn up by people who made conclusions based on theory rather than practice," said President of the Association of Employers' Organisations (AZZZ) Tomas Malatinsky in Bratislava on Tuesday, at a conference focusing on the conclusions of the 2030 strategy.
Employers and representatives of business sphere assume the Government made a serious mistake when it had the document worked out solely by academicians from the Slovak Academy of Sciences (SAV), without inviting businessmen to co-draft it. "An pan-society document like this one cannot be taken seriously without including opinions of experts from the business sphere," said Malatinsky.
