Thousands Visit Slovak Pavilion at EXPO Shanghai in Trial Run

Bratislava, April 26 (TASR) - The Slovak pavilion at the EXPO Shanghai 2010 world exhibition was very popular during a trial run at the weekend, General Commissioner of Slovakia's representation at the event Ivana Magatova said on Monday.
"More than 10,000 people visited the pavilion. We were overwhelmed both by the number of people and their level of interest, and we expect some more visitors today, as well," added Magatova.
"We were glad to find out that the visitors didn't mistake Slovakia for the former joint state (Czechoslovakia) and that they're full of praise," concurred Roman Hruzik and Boris Spisiak of the EVKA agency, which is minding the Slovak pavilion at EXPO Shanghai.
The event will be officially launched on April 30, and its gates are due to open for the public between May 1-October 31.
