Slovakia Supported Strategic Investments With €12 million in 2009

Bratislava, April 23 (TASR) - The Economy Ministry allocated €11.99 million in investment stimuli to support so-called strategic investments last year, according to the latest data for 2009 reported by the ministry.
"The state aid for strategic investments was provided to cover justifiable costs related to input investments into tangible and non-tangible property," said the ministry.
The highest amount of state aid (worth €3.05 million) among nine strategic investments was provided to Sony Slovakia, followed by the €2.27 million that went to Visteon Interiors Slovakia, and the €1.95 million allocated to SCA Hygiene Products Slovakia. Next came Orava Skipark on €1.8 million, and Johnson Controls Trencin on €1.52 million.
