Slovak Companies to Cooperate with Croatia in Energy Sector

Bratislava, April 13 (TASR) - Slovakia is set to develop active cooperation with Croatia in the field of energy, according to Tuesday's meeting between Slovak Trade and Investment Development Agency (SARIO) head Juraj Kiesel and the Croatian delegation headed by Croatian Economy Ministry state secretary Natasi Vujec and Croatian Ambassador to Slovakia Tomislav Cara.
The meeting was focused on mutual cooperation in the field of energy, due to Croatia getting close to Visegrad Four countries in the energy sector. Currently, Croatia is working intently on projects to gain energy independence.
The first step to establish ties between Slovak and Croatian energy companies will be an investment seminar set for May 13 in Zagreb, organised under the auspices of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
