SaS Launching Pre-election Campaign, Willing to Visit 500 Places

Bratislava, April 13 (TASR) - The new, non-parliamentary party Freedom and Solidarity (SaS), led by Finance Ministry former state secretary Richard Sulik, launched its pre-election campaign on Tuesday with promises of more openness and accountability.

"Contrary to other political parties, we don't only want go to people before the election ... we plan to meet them after the election, too," said one of top SaS candidates Daniel Krajcer (a former television presenter before this recent stab at politics) at a briefing the same day.

"Until the election, we'll be going round Slovakia and telling people that we're the right alternative. I hope we'll convince voters that this is the time for a change and SaS belongs in Parliament," said party leader Sulik.

According to SaS representatives, their pre-election campaign will take 44 days, during which they'll visit more than 500 towns and villages around Slovakia.
