Orban: Next Hungarian and Slovak Gov'ts to Have Better Relations

Budapest, April 11 (TASR-correspondent) - Chairman of Fidesz – Hungarian Civic Union Viktor Orban told TASR after casting his vote in the parliamentary elections on Sunday that he believes that the new Hungarian government and the new Slovak cabinet (which will come up from the general elections on June 12) will better understand one another.

The Hungarian opposition leader and the hot favourite to become the next premier, voted along with his wife and two children in the 12th Hungarian precinct on Sunday morning.

"I'm a man with hope, I don't prepare for something bad. I rather think about how to set things right," said Orban – who was premier 1998-2002 – in reference to relations between Hungary and Slovakia.

"I believe that we'll wake up in a new country," he said in response to TASR's question as to what will change in the lives of Hungarians on Monday.
