EPP Bureau to Go into Session in Kosice

Bratislava/Brussels, April 9 (TASR) - Bureau of the European People's Party Group in European Parliament will hold a April 15-16 session in Kosice, according to reports.
Participants at the meeting, which will be opened by Joseph Daul, Chairman of the EPP Group, will discuss European Union policies, the impact of the economic crisis or long-term outlook and prospects of the Union regarding its enlargement.
Among Slovak politicians due to address the event are former Prime Minister and Chairman of the Slovak Democratic and Christian Union-Democratic Party (SDKU-DS), Mikulas Dzurinda; the former and first European Commissioner of Slovakia and Chairman of the Christian Democratic Movement, Jan Figel (KDH); and the former first Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Party of Hungarian Coalition (SMK), Pal Csaky.
The EPP Group is the largest political group in the European Parliament comprising 265 MEPs. The Bureau consists of 60 of the most senior MEPs.
