Bratislava, April 6 (TASR) - The Slovak Trade and Investment Development Agency (SARIO) is launching a new communications model with domestic and foreign investors, which will be based on closer co-operation between investors and representatives of Slovak regions, SARIO general director Juraj Kiesel told TASR on Tuesday.
"A new situation has been caused especially by the economic crisis in which investments all over the world are being strangled. This requires more dynamism and activity in communications," said Kiesel.
The new system will include re-linking SARIO websites with investment and export offers to individual websites of the Higher Territorial Units (VUCs). "In addition, the project manager of the SARIO foreign direct investments section, co-operating with regional offices of the agency and top officials of the VUC regional development (offices), will mediate negotiations with investors directly in the regions," added Kiesel.
SARIO is also ready to lead negotiations between regional representatives and investors on investment possibilities via video conferences.
