Bratislava, April 4 (TASR) - The resurrection of Jesus Christ brings us the most important message - the message of God's love, forgiveness and hope, said archbishop of Bratislava Stanislav Zvolensky at the beginning of the Holy Mass in St. Martin's Cathedral on Easter Sunday.
The archbishop added that this earthly life isn't a closed system and that he is convinced that based on God's will and love, there is a way of life that surpasses the earthly one with its perfection.
In his sermon, Zvolensky mentioned several testimonies of Christ's resurrection, mainly those of St. Paul and the disciples on the road to Emmaus, as well as others to whom he appeared.
Easter brings us the hope of a new life. It's new life in relation to God and other people, which we obtain through absolution," said Zvolensky.
The Easter Sunday Mass included prayers for the worshippers, the Church, for peaceful co-existence between the people of the world, as well as for the old and ill and the deceased.
