Slovak Tourism Agency and Via Carpathia to Promote Slovakia

Bratislava, April 3 (TASR) - Brazil and India represent two important markets, on which the Visegrad Four (V4) countries intend to co-operate in promoting tourism activities in 2010, TASR learned from the Slovak Tourism Agency's (SACR) foreign relations department head Livia Lukacova on Saturday.

The plan involves presenting tourism products of Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland and Hungary in Brazil's Sao Paulo, as well as publishing the information brochure on the as yet unspecified date. For India, however, the timetable is already set. On the Indian market, a series of V4 countries propagation presentations made for Indian touroperators will take place from April 12-17. Slovakia will be presented by SACR and the Via Carpathia travel agency.

The Indian market is one among the most prospective in the world, with the local touroperators expressing more and more interest in comprehensive tourism offers vis-a-vis Central European region and the individual Central European countries as well.
