UVK Draws Lots for Parties' Ballot-paper Numbers

Bratislava, March 23 (TASR) - The Central Electoral Commission (UVK) on Tuesday registered all 18 political parties that intend to run in the parliamentary elections on June 12, drawing lots to decide the numbers under which individual parties will feature on the ballot papers.
The number 1 went to the European Democratic Party, followed by Union-Party for Slovakia (2), Party of the Roma Coalition (3), Paul's Kapurkova (One for the Road)-Merry Political Party (4), Freedom and Solidarity - SaS (5), Party of the Democratic Left - SDL (6), the ethnic-Hungarian SMK (7), LS-HZDS (8), the Communist Party of Slovakia - KSS (9), the Slovak National Party - SNS (10), New Democracy (11), the Association of Slovak Workers - ZRS (12), the Christian Democrats - KDH (13), the People's Party-Our Slovakia (14), SDKU-DS (15), AZEN - Alliance for a Europe of Nations (16), Smer-SD (17), and Most-Hid (18).
