Bratislava, March 15 (TASR) - Israeli investors are interested in development projects, high-tech production and tourism, with hotel and spa businesses in particular, TASR learned from parliamentary Committee on Economy Policy chairman Maros Kondrot on Monday.
On the same day, Kondrot along with the Parliamentary Vice-Chair Miroslav Ciz, held a meeting with Israeli Chamber of Commerce representatives Oren Shachor and Baruch Mazor.
"On the other hand, Israel is interested in attracting Slovak investors to run businesses involving infrastructure development," said Kondrot.
According to him, Israeli investors deem Slovakia an interesting country mainly because of its economic stability, a status also driven by the common European currency.
Slovak exports to Israel increased by €870,000 in August 2008, representing 4.6-percent growth year-on-year, with airplanes, vehicles, boats, heavy machinery, electrical devices and tools among the most exported products.
