European Inspectors Audit Slovak Aviation Bureau

Bratislava, March 15 (TASR) - Inspectors from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) began an audit of the Slovak Aviation Bureau on Monday, TASR learned from Transport Ministry spokesman Stanislav Jurikovic on the same day.

"Auditors will inspect the aviation staff licensing, the development and manufacturing of the airplanes as well as their maintenance and operation," LU Director Petr Bruna said in a written statement. "The audit hasn't been launched because of any shortcomings on the part of the Aviation Bureau."

The team of 15 EASA inspectors is carrying out the audit, which is set to be completed by Friday (March 19), with the results to be known by June.
