Pravda Daily Has New Owner- Slovak Florena Instead of British Daily Mail

Bratislava, March 1 (TASR) - Slovak publishing companies Perex and Avizo were bought by a company called Florena, Pravda daily informed on its website on Monday. Pravda itself belongs to the portfolio of Perex. Avizo, on the other hand, issues several classifieds titles in Slovakia.
Florena is reported to be owned by clients of the Slovak finance group J&T. The firm bought the shares from UK's Daily Mail. The purchase sum hasn't been revealed.
Pravda is the oldest daily in Slovakia. It was established in 1920, and with daily circulation of around 50,000 is currently the second best-selling public-opinion newspaper, and number four on the market overall.
