Luetken No Longer on Board of Interblue Group Europe

Bratislava, February 22 (TASR) - Jana Luetken is no longer a member of the managing board of the Switzerland-based Interblue Group Europe and is no longer authorised to act on the company's behalf, eTREND web portal reported on Monday.

The portal referred to an extract from the Swiss Company Register. According to the website, the name of the new person running the company isn't listed in the register as yet.

Interblue Group Europe is claimed to be the legal successor to U.S.-based company the Interblue Group, which bought 15 million tonnes of carbon-dioxide emission quotas from Slovakia in 2008.

The company is supposed to pay an additional €15 million – a bonus tied to so-called green projects. Luetken said in early December that the projects weren't well defined, and that the company therefore wouldn't pay the outstanding €15 million to Slovakia.

According to eTREND, this is a second substantial change at Interblue Group Europe in the past two weeks. This indicates that some 'tidying-up' is underway at the company, or that people behind the company want to complicate talks with Slovakia.
