Gasparovic Leaves for Vancouver to Support Slovak Athletes at Olympics

Bratislava, February 22 (TASR) - Slovak President Ivan Gasparovic left for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver on Monday, his office reported on the same day.
Gasparovic, who is visiting Canada on the invitation of the International Olympic Committee and its Slovak branch, intends to support Slovakia's athletes in person.
The president is scheduled to return on March 1.
