Bratislava, November 25 (TASR) - This year's Christmas Markets will start at Bratislava Main Square and Franciscans Square on Friday and will last for 27 days until December 23.
Traditional Christmas products including a range of gastronomic specialities and gifts will be sold in 107 stalls.
"The uniqueness of the Christmas Markets lies in the amazing atmosphere that prevails at the markets every year," said Bratislava mayor Andrej Durkovsky at a press conference on Wednesday.
Estimates are that about 3,000 people will come to the markets every day, some of them from abroad as well. Incomes from the Christmas Markets to the City will reach about €315,000.
The traditional Bratislava Christmas Tree will be lit on Friday, too.
