Trencin, November 25 (TASR) - The expert opinion concerning the tragic accident at Bazant Pohoda music festival in July, when O2 Arena tent collapsed on hundreds of people, won't be finished this year, according to the information provided for TASR by court expert Gustav Kasanicky on Wednesday.
Kasanicky specified that the tent has already been examined by experts, and now it's necessary to calculate the wind conditions and combine all the results into a comprehensive expert opinion. The computer simulation of the collapse is ready as well.
The opinion was expected to be ready by November 2009, but the police delivered the complete file concerning the accident too late.
The large 02 Arena tent, in which hundreds of people were watching a band at Slovakia's biggest festival, collapsed on July 18 when violent gusts of wind occurred suddenly. The incident left one person dead and dozens injured. Another young woman died of her injuries in October.
