Paska: Political and Economic Relations with South Korea Excellent

Bratislava, February 3 (TASR) - Parliamentary Chairman Pavol Paska said at a meeting with Korean Ambassador to Slovakia Seok-soong Seo on Wednesday that both political and economic relations between Slovakia and the Republic of Korea are excellent.
South Korea is one of the most important non-European economic partners of Slovakia, mainly due to more than 70 Korean firms that have invested in Slovakia'a car and electronic industry.
The largest Korean investors are Samsung Electronics (with facilities in Galanta and Voderady - both Trnava region) and Hyundai-Kia, which has produced more than 500,000 cars at the plant in Teplicka nad Vahom (Zilina region).
Paska and Seo agreed that it is the mutual interest of the two countries to see more Korean investors come to Slovakia.
