IES Increased Again in January, by 2.4 points M-o-M

Bratislava, January 29 (TASR) - Confidence in the Slovak economy continued to grow in January, with the Indicator of Economic Sentiment (IES) increasing by 2.4 points month-on-month to 84.8 points, the Slovak Statistics Office reported on Friday.
The Index was influenced by growing consumer confidence and confidence in services. It grew by 5.5 points year-on-year, which is still 13.6 points below the long-term average.
