BTS Wants Ryanair and Travel Service to Base Airplanes in Bratislava

Bratislava, January 26 (TASR) - The Bratislava Airport is still negotiating with transport companies Ryanair and Travel Service on establishing themselves and setting up new Bratislava airlinks, TASR learned from M.R. Stefanik Bratislava Airport (BTS) marketing director Radek Zabransky on Tuesday.

"We're still negotiating. There has been no change in their stance so far, but we'll see how things evolve," said Zabransky.

Ryanair (Ireland) isn't offering any comment on the current situation. "I can't comment on pending negotiations," said Ryanair marketing manager Henrike Schmidt.

Currently, talks, too, are being held with the Czech charter carrier. "We're negotiating with Travel Service on securing the summer charter season, as the Seagle Air company terminated their activities. This market is open for Travel Service to step in and base their airplanes here," explained Zabransky.
