Klub500 Agree with Gov't Decision to Downsize Number of Ministries

Bratislava, January 21 (TASR) - Large employers' organisations such as AZZZ and Klub500 are appreciative of the ruling Coalition for their voting to terminate the ministry of environment and ministry of construction and regional development to reduce number of ministries to 12 as of July 1.
AZZZ backs initiatives that will streamline the state sector. "There has yet to be created a model of transferring the powers of terminated ministries that will secure bringing down cost," said AZZZ president Tomas Malatinsky on Thursday.
Klub500 chief Vladimir Sotak says this is a good move. "Things should keep going on this way since there is still a lot of bureacracy to go through a lot of duplicate agenda," he said. Klub 500 would also like to see a reduction in the number of MPs to bring in even more cost savings.
