Average Inflation in 2009 at Record Low Level of 1.6 percent

Bratislava, January 13 (TASR) - Inflation measured according to national methodology reached its lowest-ever value in 2009 at an average of 1.6 percent, Slovakia's Statistics Office announced on Wednesday.
Average core and net inflation were also at minimum levels - 0.5 percent and 1.4 percent, respectively.
In December 2009, year-on-year inflation stood at 0.5 percent, with core inflation at minus 0.2 percent and net inflation at 1 percent.
