Bratislava, January 12 (TASR) - The incident on January 2 in which an airport security exercise went awry and resulted in a sample of explosives being sent to Dublin in the luggage of an unwitting traveller should lead to the dismissal of Slovak Police Corps President Jan Packa, said coalition LS-HZDS party chair Vladimir Meciar at a press conference on Tuesday.
"As far as training for the handlers of police sniffer dogs is concerned, it should be carried out totally different way, and the internal norm is Packa's responsibility. He signs it," stated Meciar, who doesn't agree that only the head of Slovakia's Border and Foreigners Police Tibor Mako should be dismissed over the scandal.
Meciar added, however, that he doesn't think that Interior Minister Kalinak should be recalled.
