Fico: Opposition's Attempt to Remove Vazny Is Just Pre-election Tactics

Bratislava, January 12 (TASR) - The Opposition's attempt to file a motion for a no-confidence vote in Transport Minister Lubomir Vazny is nothing but pre-election tactics, said Prime Minister Robert Fico on Tuesday.
"Once again, it's but a tactic of chaos and subversion. They have no alternative - that's the whole problem that the rightist Opposition faces," said Fico.
Fico added that it's the Opposition's legitimate right to propose a no-confidence vote in Parliament, however. "If 30 MPs sign such a proposal, the parliamentary chairman (Pavol Paska) must summon a session," he said.
"However, I think that opposition MPs should look closely at what minister Vazny has managed to do at the ministry recently, what huge PPP (public-private partnership) projects he's launched, the construction of a new airport terminal (at Bratislava airport) and so on," suggested Fico.
