SkyToll Collected €1.5 million During Nine Days

Bratislava, January 9 (TASR) - Operator of the recently-introduced electronic road-toll system in Slovakia - SkyToll - has collected €1.5 million as of Saturday.
The system was launched on January 1, 2010. "Vehicles obliged to pay toll have been driving on 9,926,140km of tariffed road sections in total," SkyToll spokesperson Lenka Lendacka told TASR on Saturday, adding that there are 84,801 registered lorries.
All the financial means collected by SkyToll on Slovak highways head for the coffers of the National Highway Company (NDS).
