Skocek: Slovakia and Hungary Striving for Pragmatic Dialogue in 2010

Bratislava, January 5 (TASR) - Both Slovakia and Hungary are interested in a pragmatic development of neighbourly relations in 2010, a year that will be marked by parliamentary elections in both countries, Slovakia's Foreign Affairs Minister Miroslav Lajcak and Chairman of the Hungarian parliamentary committee for foreign affairs and the committee for Hungarians living abroad Zsolt Nemeth concurred at a meeting on Tuesday.

This information was provided to TASR on the same day by Foreign Ministry press department head Igor Skocek.

According to Skocek, the two politicians discussed current issues pertaining to bilateral relations, and expressed interest in further developing political dialogue. He added that the two representatives noted that current bilateral issues were discussed at the meeting in a atmosphere behoving members of the European Union and NATO.
