Bratislava, January 4 (TASR) - The building on Bratislava's SNP Square that previously housed the Nation's Memory Institute (UPN) will be used by the Supreme Court and the Constitutional Court, Justice Ministry spokesman Michal Jurci told TASR on Monday.
"After all legal conditions have been met, the ownership of the building was transferred to the Supreme Court, where space for judges and office work should be made available. Part of the space will be provided to the Constitutional Court," said Jurci.
The Supreme Court has long grappled with a lack of space, and even more so after it admitted another 28 judges assistants in 2009. "The situation at the Supreme Court was critical, as judges had to be moved into smaller offices and their offices served several assistants at the same time," added Jurci.
