SkyToll: Road Toll System Running Well

Bratislava, January 2 (TASR) - Slovakia's road-toll system provider SkyToll at a press conference on Saturday rejected the claims by certain Slovak transport companies earlier in the day that the system, which was introduced on New Year's Day, isn't running well.
According to SkyToll, the problem may have arisen in services provided by personnel at petrol stations. "At the moment, we don't have any problems with the system, neither with the registration," said SkyToll customer service department director Miroslav Mikulcik.
According to Mikulcik, all registration centres on the border crossings and the sale spots at petrol stations are functioning. "We've enough onboard units everywhere, and our super-registration centre in Bratislava's Incheba is also open," added Mikulcik.
The Union of Slovakia's Carriers (UNAS) said at a press conference that it has information on several cases involving foreign truck drivers who despite their best intention weren't able to secure the onboard units while passing through Slovakia.
