First Russian and Ukrainian Tourists Arriving at Poprad Airport

Bratislava/Poprad, December 27 (TASR) - The first three charter flights of this winter season coming from Moscow and Kiev to Poprad airport arrive on Sunday, with another three expected over the next few days.
Russian and Ukrainian tourists coming by air are heading for ski resorts in the High Tatra mountains, including those on the Polish side, however.
According to Poprad airport director Ivana Herkelova, the airport is prepared to deal with health risks connected to the A(H1N1) novel flu virus, but no special measures have been necessary so far.
Poprad airport is connected by regular flights to London, Manchester, Dublin, Warsaw, Brussels, Basel and Bratislava.
