Bratislava, December 23 (TASR) - Prosecution against ex-Slovak Land Fund (SPF) deputy director-general Helena Osuska was resumed after being halted when her conduct in the controversial 2007 transfer of land at Velky Slavkov (High Tatra Mountains) was not found to be of a criminal nature, Prosecutor General Dobroslav Trnka said on Wednesday.
"I have found (the halting of prosecution) too early," Trnka, who has ordered resumption of the probe, told reporters in connection with the case under investigation by special prosecutors.
Trnka would not be drawn out on details surrounding Osuska's involvement.
Another former deputy director-general Branislav Briza, who signed the Velky Slavkov restitution case on behalf of SPF chief Frantisek Hideghety (who was on holiday at the time), is still being prosecuted in this case, as well as other related contracts benefiting the firm GVM, which allegedly is closely linked to LS-HZDS.
