Bratislava, December (TASR) - Austria may within a month return to Slovakia suspected Algerian terrorist Mustafa Labsi, who fled a refugee camp nearby Samorin (Trnava region) amid decision-making procedures on his asylum application on Saturday, a migration officer from the Interior Ministry said on Wednesday.
Head of the migration office Bernard Priecel further stated that Labsi, once back in Slovakia, could be placed in a guarded facility.
Suspected of working for terrorist network al-Qaeda, Labsi was arrested in Slovakia in May 2007 after arriving there with his wife - a Slovak citizen with whom he has a child.
He has sought asylum in France, Austria, Great Britain and Slovakia.
Slovakia's Migration Authority has dismissed Labsi's repeated asylum applications and Bratislava Regional Court upheld a rejection of his appeal in late October.
