Bratislava, January 4 (TASR) - Nuclear power-plants in Mochovce and Jaslovske Bohunice do comply with the strictest safety standards, and the shortcomings reported by the National Labour Inspectorate represent no threat towards either nuclear safety or labour stanadrds, Slovenske Elektrarne spokesperson Jana Burdova told TASR on Tuesday in response to the Inspectorate's report on a series of alleged flaws in the two facilities.
According to the Inspectorate, the shortcomings mostly concerned works and services carried out by suppliers. In total, auditors screened 25 clearances in 10 companies, revealing as many as 222 shortcomings.
Burdova said that most of the flaws have been already removed, as these were only administrative shortcomings, such as errors in documentation and records.
