Survey: Armed Forces the Most Trusted Slovak Institution

Bratislava, December 22 (TASR) - Slovakia's Armed Forces demonstrated their professionalism in 2010 in various military missions abroad but also during the emergency works to clear the damage caused by unprecedented floods that plagued Slovakia, according to a poll carried out by Focus in late November-early December.
According to the agency's survey, 94.2 percent of Slovak adults agree that it's good to have the Armed Forces – which can provide help when needed.
As usual, the Armed Forces ranks among the most trusted institutions in Slovakia, with 78.5 percent of respondents trusting the military; meanwhile, only 9.6 percent find the Armed Forces to be untrustworthy.
Focus carried out the survey on a sample of 1,040 respondents.
