Honeywell Planning to Invest €38.3 million in Presov, Creating 446 Jobs

Bratislava, December 21 (TASR) - U.S. company Honeywell International has submitted an official investment intention to the Economy Ministry, TASR was informed by the ministry on Tuesday.
Honeywell wants to built a new assembly plant for producing turbochargers in Presov, and plans to create about 446 jobs in the process. The overall investment should reach €38.3 million.
The project has gone through the assessment process within the legislative rules linked to the approving of the investment assistance. This includes direct financial assistance in form of a subsidy for gaining tangible and intangible investment property and contribution for a newly-created job position in the form of a direct assistance (income tax relief).
