Radicova: Trnava Peugeot Plans to Create 800 New Jobs

Trnava, December 15 (TASR) - Trnava-based automobile producer PSA Peugeot Citroen plans to create 800 new jobs and its suppliers another 200, Prime Minister Iveta Radicova said after her talks with company representatives on Wednesday.
"The jobs will be created under new projects and I, for one, am glad that it's Trnava where these projects will take place," said Radicova.
She didn't give specifics on when this is supposed to happen, however, saying that it's up to Peugeot to publish the date.
The intention to increase employment was confirmed also by PSA Peugeot Trnava General Director Luciano Biondo. He said that the company wants to continue the education of its employees in order for the Trnava plant to become one of the Peugeot business concern's leaders in Europe.
