Bratislava, December 6 (TASR) - Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban will pay an official visit to Bratislava on December 14, Prime Minister Iveta Radicova confirmed to TASR in an interview on Monday.
The two Premiers met for the first time during the Visegrad Four (V4) summit held on July 20 in Budapest.
After the summit, where Slovakia took over the one-year chairmanship of the V4, Radicova said that the relations between Slovakia and Hungary have improved, with Slovak-Hungarian committees re-established to address controversial issues. Orban assured his Slovak counterpart that Hungarian representatives have no interest in any conflict with Slovakia.
The last time that a Hungarian premier came for an official visit to Slovakia was February 12, 1999. It was Viktor Orban coming upon an invitation by then-premier Mikulas Dzurinda.
