Bratislava, December 5 (TASR) - Slovaks will watch their expenses this Christmas, as the economic crisis has affected everybody, Ivana Setfancova from Lyoness Slovakia has told TASR pointing to poll carried recently out by the company.
Despite the many discounts shops are using to lure customers before Christmas, Slovaks will spend their money prudently. According to the poll, people are not planning to spend more than €350 for Christmas gifts.
Expenses on gifts were much higher a year ago than they will be this December, reads another survey carried out by Deloitte. People want to spend €435 on gifts, food and activities during the Christmas holidays in 2010, while this sum reached €480 last year.
According to Stefancova, most people in Slovakia also decide on the basis of price, discounts and loyalty discounts.
