Figel Remains KDH Chair with His Terms of Office Prolonged to Four Years

Bratislava, December 4 (TASR) - Jan Figel was re-elected the chairman of the Christian-Democratic Movement (KDH) by the party's congress on Saturday.
Figel received 301 votes from the 334 KDH memebers present at the congess session.
Changes to the party's statutes were another point on the agenda. The congress decided that the chairman and six vice-chairs won't be elected for the period of two years anymore, but their service will be prolonged to four years.
