Robert Simoncic Appointed as New SARIO General Director

Bratislava, December 3 (TASR) - Economy Minister Juraj Miskov on Friday appointed Robert Simoncic as director of the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO), the Economy Ministry's press department told TASR on the same day.
Simoncic, 53, won an open competition against four other applicants, and is set to replace Andrea Gulova on Monday.
Simoncic worked as general director of Microsoft Slovakia between 2001-08 before becoming Microsoft's general director for Central and Eastern Europe. He was interim SARIO director between June-August 2010.
