Jerusalem/Bratislava, December 18 (TASR) - The second screening of the Slovak film Nedodrzany Slub (Unkept Promise) is to take place at the 11th Jerusalem Jewish Film Festival on Friday, Slovakia's Foreign Affairs Ministry spokesman Peter Stano told TASR on the same day.
The first screening took place Tuesday in a packed hall. The film had a great success, and it appealed both to the public and critics with the power of its story, said Stano.
Unkept Promise, which has a Czech director Jiri Chlumsky, has already won several international awards, including a victory at the prestigious film festival in Los Angeles. It has also been nominated for an Oscar.
In Jerusalem it was screened in Slovak with English and Hebrew subtitles.
