Bratislava, November 16 (TASR) - Prime Minister Iveta Radicova at the Primatial Palace in Bratislava on Tuesday paid her final respects to lawyer Ernest Valko, who was murdered at his house in Limbach a week ago.
Radicova at the same time apologised to Valko's relatives for failing to prevent the crime. Valko, 57, a prominent lawyer and former head of the Czech-Slovak Federal Constitutional Court, was shot dead last Monday.
"To me you've always been and always will be not only an honest man, but most of all a fair man," said Radicova in the presence of Valko's ex-wife Olga and daughter Jana.
Following the ceremony, Valko's coffin was taken to Martinsky cemetery in Bratislava for burial.
