Slovakia and Slovenia Sign Document on Ties in Public Administration

Ljubljana, November 16 (TASR) - During his visit to Slovenia on Tuesday, Slovak Interior Minister Daniel Lipsic signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Slovenian Minister for Public Administration Irma Krebs concerning co-operation between the two countries in the area of public administration, Lucia Garajova from the Slovak ministry told TASR later in the day.
The document is designed to bolster ties between Slovakia and Slovenia in the sphere in question, with particular emphasis to be placed on expert workshops, seminars, study placements and provision of consulting services in, inter alia, the area of EU funds.
The co-operation will also concern Government innovations and public administration development, facilitation of administrative proceedings, e-government and training of civil servants.
