Lech Walesa to Visit Bratislava to Mark Velvet Revolution Anniversary

Bratislava, November 16 (TASR) - Former Polish president, well-known leader of the Solidarity movement and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Lech Walesa is set to visit Bratislava on Wednesday, November 17 - the 21st anniversary of the beginning of the Velvet Revolution.
Walesa was invited by Jan Budaj, one of the main Slovak figures behind the events that came to a head in November 1989. The Polish guest is also set to meet Premier Iveta Radicova, who plans to have lunch with him.
Walesa, 67, will wrap up his visit on Thursday.
