Fico And Triet Discuss Mutual Co-operation

Bratislava, December 17 (TASR) - Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico met with the President of the Vietnam Socialist Republic Nguyen Minh Triet in the Government's Office in Bratislava on Thursday, it was announced on the Government's Office website on the same day.
The Vietnamese President, on a three-day official visit in Slovakia, opened during his lunch with Fico the possibility of co-operation between the two countries. Both representatives focused in their talk especially on possibilities of development of mutual co-operation, European politics and international issues.
Triet also met with the Slovak Parliamentary Chairman Pavol Paska, who praised the high level of Slovak-Vietnam relations in which there are no burdening open issues. They talked mostly about co-operation in economics.
Paska also underlined that even though Slovakia has only 5.5 million people, it also enables entry to the EU markets with 500 million people. Both partners at the same time agreed on interest in more intensive co-operation in economics, investments, education, culture and sciences.
