Zuzana Tapakova Becomes General Director of TV Markiza

Bratislava, October 19 (TASR) - Private TV Markiza has a new general director as of Tuesday - Zuzana Tapakova. The council of TV Markiza representatives voted her in, tasking her with managing other CME Group (US) products TV Doma, Nova Sport (based in Prague) and Czechoslovak MTV, TASR was told by TV Markiza's spokesperson Olga Dubravska.
Tapakova has been working for TV Markiza since it went on air in 1996 as the channel's marketing director, during which time TV Markiza has managed to keep its number one position on the Slovak television market. "My top priority is to strengthen TV Markiza's market leader position," said Tapakova.
